Position: Sr. Systems Analyst / Partner
Primary duties include the design, planning, development, implementation, testing and training of custom reports for clients using the Cerner Millennium product. I have written reports for virtually all Cerner modules including Person Management, Patient Scheduling, Orders, PowerChart, Pharmacy, Pathnet, SurgiNet and CPOE. I have developed hundreds of reports using current Cerner technologies such as Layout Builder and Genviews.
I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from large Children’s Hospitals to smaller community hospitals. Client I have worked directly with are Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, California, Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, CT, Northern Michigan Regional Hospital and the Government of Prince Edward Island.

My primary duties at LHSC involve the design, development, and implementation of various patient care related reports, labels, and data entry systems using Cerner CCL, Perl, Java, Visual Basic, and Intermec IPL. I have also extensively used HTML, and some DHTML,/JavaScript in web based reporting and system documentation.
Primary developer of internal programming standards.
As a Software Analyst, it is also my duty to assist and mentor the Programmer/Analysts in ways that educate and stimulate their career growth.

During my time at Ventra Plastics, my primary role was to develop DOS and Windows based automotive production applications using CA-Clipper, Visual Basic, MS-Access 97, and Intermec IPL. Applications developed include production data collection and bar-coding, accounting applications based on production data (e.g. Costing).
I also functioned as the network administrator of a Netware 3.12 network. All user maintenance, hardware/software upgrades, system security and disk management tasks were my responsibilities.
PC hardware maintenance and troubleshooting was also part of my job description.
